Hello

I'm glad you're here

Little Family (Charleston Family Photography)

I can’t wait for you to meet this great family. Both of our families are members at Old St. Andrew’s Parish. Recently, our church held a silent auction and I donated a family session. I was thrilled when I found out that the Little family won the session! I watch Christina sing with the choir each Sunday morning and her gift amazes me weekly.

We met out at Charlestowne Landing, where it happened that Christina spent many summer afternoons of her youth there. Love locations with special memories! Christina and her husband have a spunky little girl named Amelia. She is so loved by not only her family, but her church family. She is the nicest little girl and has never met a stranger. Instead of trying to describe her personality, let me just show you….

LOL, you’re with me, right? She’s amazing. Her eyes are as black as coal and her amazingly curly hair made my job very easy.

Now, I had always heard about how all little girls just love their daddy, but not until I had my own girl did I really understand it. Well, it was no different for Amelia and her sweet daddy.

Now back to those eyes….

A very big thank you to the Little family! I enjoyed spending time with you all! See you Sunday!

The Beautiful Brewer Girl (Charleston Children Photography)

Meet Caroline. She is one sweet, charming, beautiful and happy child! Now, let me remind you moms, that no child can go through an entire photography session without a complaint, a melt down or a need to stop for a recharge and a snack. It’s all part of it. I’ll get back to that topic in another post. Let’s just say that Caroline didn’t complain (she can’t quite talk yet) and not meltdowns (well rested baby), but she loves Goldfish and Nilla Wafers! 🙂

We met on a Saturday morning at the always amazing, Boone Hall Plantation. This beautiful setting is quickly becoming a client (and the photographers) favorite place. There are so many options and it’s frozen in time.

Caroline’s mom did an amazing job picking our her dress. It fit in with the plantation grounds flawlessly and was such a classic choice!

I really love this one. Caroline is reaching for her momma’s hand and I captured that moment. Every mother has looked down at their child from this perspective. A child reaching without looking and trusting, knowing, that mom will be there. I love it.

I think this one was the client’s favorite. So classic and beautiful!

A very big thank you to the Brewer family! I loved this session so much!

The Stallings Family (Charleston Family Photography)

It’s been awhile for this stunning family. The last time I had the pleasure of seeing them through my lens was when I photographed Parker’s first birthday party. Oh my, has she changed! We met out at Boone Hall Plantation just as the sun was setting. It was starting to get chilly out, but the girls were good. Their dresses were so sweet and classic!

During our shoot, we were spending a lot of time taking shots of the girls and I asked Caroline and her husband, “When was the last time you two had pictures together, just the two of you?” Well, there was a LONG pause. Needless to say, we let the girls play and I took some of them together. This happens to be one of my favorites.

Brian has THE most amazing colored eyes. They’re so blue they’re almost white. The girls also inherited his eye color and they are so lucky!

Thank you to the Stallings family! I loved our time together!

The Lantz Family Easter Session (Charleston Photographer)

I was so excited to see the Lantz family again. I was lucky enough to take their Christmas photos and my, how sweet Miss Caroline has grown! This beautiful family decided that they wanted to capture Caroline with her Easter basket out at the amazing Boone Hall Plantation.

Look at that face! She’s so excited! Man, this little girl has such a nice personality!

These two sisters are so beautiful! They are truly smitten with each other!

Okay, pay close attention to this stylish family’s outfits. That, my friends, is how it is done. They all wear outfits that compliment, but not super matchy. Super cute!

I just love the cotton out at Boone Hall Plantation, it’s like stepping back in time. Now, getting a child to look at the cotton, but not pick it is another thing! She was so good though and so curious.

Thank you again, Lantz family! I loved our session!

Yeagle Family Spring Session (Charleston Family Photographer)

My poor blog. It’s been badly neglected. However, I have some amazing sessions to show you!

I met this family after they had welcomed their second baby girl, Blythe. I was honored to be asked to take her newborn pictures. You can view that session here. We ventured out to the amazing Boone Hall Plantation for spring portraits. It was amazing weather and we had a great session.

Blythe has an older sister, Nora, who I think is one of the sweetest little girls. She loves her baby sister so much. She’s also at the age now where she’s starting to gain some independence and explore the world a bit more. It’s such a great age!

Blythe is such a nice baby. She was all smiles and very curious about who I was and why I had a large lens constantly in her face. I couldn’t get enough!

Look at the girls dresses! They were so cute. Their mom did such a great job!

Thank you to the Yeagle family! I love capturing your amazing family and witnessing how fast the girls are growing!
