Meet Alanah. She too is a Michigan girl, so I was immediately drawn to her. Little did I know, she would be absolutely stunning and a true natural in front of the camera. She has relatives in Charleston so when she was visiting, she decided that Charleston would be a better setting than Michigan. Now, I love Michigan and it’s natural beauty, but she wanted a little something different. So, I obliged. It’s a rough job, people. Ha!

In my opinion, she chose a perfect dress for our session. The color really popped! It looked amazing on her! No, folks, she isn’t considering Clemson. However, she is consider the College of Charleston! Whoot!

After we spent time downtown, she wanted to head to the Isle of Palms to take some stunning beach pictures. It was really busy and quite windy, but she worked it!

Our family took a few days and went to the beach. The weather has been crazy in South Carolina lately. Typically it’s so hot you can’t breathe and you pray for rain to take humidity away. I think the local weather man said we’ve had 17 straight days with rain. To those of you in Seattle, God bless you. I couldn’t do it. We would run to the beach until it started to rain and then retreat to the hotel until it let up. It was exhausting, but so much fun. I actually decided to take my camera and take some pictures of my family on the beach. There was a lot of playing in the sand since the waves were a bit too rough. Here are some favorites from the day.
