I have a special place in my heart for this family. They were the first to say yes when I asked to take their picture. I love this family. It’s amazing to see how the children have grown over the year.

First up, my buddy Ben. He is fast on his feet as I tried to race him (and really tried) and he kept pace with me. Of course I wasn’t wearing running shoes, so he had an advantage (cough).

This pose? He came up with it on his own and I thought, future J.Crew model right here.

Now, on to Ruby, Rubes, or Ruby Du, which ever. This girl is a girl after my own heart. She’ll stop for a millisecond flash a killer smile and she’s off. If you’re not ready, too bad. I love her. There are so many that capture her personality, but this my friends, says it all.

Look at her, she’s a doll!

I could post on these kids all night, but I’ve said it again, you can’t have great kids with out great parents and these two simply rock.

Finally, it wouldn’t be me without one black and white one of mother and child. Hannah, you are truly stunning.

You may remember this little knight from his first birthday party over the summer.   At his party, he could quickly crawl and this session he was walking quickly!  How they grow up so fast.

The little knights mom is one rockin’ corporate event planner so she couldn’t have pictures without someone getting into the Christmas spirit!

Isn’t that the most patient dog ever?  The treats helped.

Finally, there is nothing like the happiness of a mom when she looks at her child.

I had a friend say to me once after meeting my sister-in-law, “You don’t know how good you’ve got it, Molly, you’ve got a great sister-in-law!”  I laughed and said, “Oh yes, I know it.”  I got lucky when I got Amy and blessed with a niece and nephew who I adore.  I’ve been taking their pictures each year at Christmas and this year’s photos are my favorite.

Aren’t they beautiful?!

My niece is a beauty pagent winner and boy, she needs no direction when I take her picture.  I just click and say AMAZING!!

My sweet nephew.  My boys look up to him already and want to be just like him, which is just fine by me.  He’s awesome.
