Carson's No Boys Allowed Session | Children's Photographer Charleston

This is my darling baby girl, Carson Caroline. She is the most gentle, sweet kind soul ever to walk through my life and I am so grateful for her. Children & Family Photographer Charleston, SC

She is at the age, now 3, where she can handle a session all of her own. We have been talking about it for awhile. I decided that we were going to go for it. I woke her up and asked her if she would like to go take pictures with me. She jumped up, “YES!” Then quickly added, “NO BOYS ALLOWED!!!” I assured her this session was JUST about her and FOR her. She was so excited.

We headed downtown Charleston on a very chilly day. She was a pro. She pushed through the cold to give me some of my favorite images of her. Heck, some of my favorite images I’ve ever taken.

Oh, and this is “Baby” her American Girl Bitty Baby. She has had this doll since she was 1 and takes her almost everywhere. I thought it was fitting to get some images of them together.

At Home on Daniel Island | Charleston Lifestyle Photographer

I love the Yeagles. They see the value in having portraits each year (or a few times a year). They love to document their amazing family and they take great care to choose each portrait and style it on the walls in their home. I love going there to see my work displayed so beautifully!

This year when Stephanie reached out to me and suggested that we have the session at their home, I was so excited!! They have an amazing home and I just love shooting there. We decided that their master bedroom was THE place to be and here is the result.

I am so proud of this session and the relationship that I have with the Yeagles. I can honestly say that our relationship has grown beyond professional to a personal friendship. I cherish it so much!

A million thanks to this family for opening up their home and their friendship to me!

Beautiful Family Session in Downtown Charleston | Charleston Family Photographer

I have been photographing this family for a few years now. I enjoy watching little Caroline grow and spending time with them. They are so much fun!

I just love how Caroline loves her Momma. She is so close to her and it shows!

During my downtown sessions, we have a lot of fun. We walk around and find all kinds of beautiful spots to shoot. I call it an adventure walk. It helps keep the children entertained, but also allows many different backdrops!
