A Surprise Proposal | Charleston Engagement Photographer

I’m going to start this off with…She said YES! Aaron reached out and said that he was going to propose to Andrea and wanted a photographer to capture the moment. I was so excited! Not only is that romantic enough, he proposed in Hampton Park in the exact same spot where his parents got engaged. Plus, he gave Andrea her mother’s ring. That, my friends, is how you incorporate family to your engagement. It was so romantic.

After she said yes, we did a quick engagement shoot. Andrea and Aaron are both so photogenic. I loved being with them. Being around them was like hanging out in a Nicolas Sparks movie. Totally in love.

Congratulations you two! I am the luckiest photographer in the world tonight.

I admit this was my first time to Wadmalaw Island. I was flabbergasted at the beauty of this place and the clients home! When mom called wanting a lifestyle shoot at home, I was so excited! She wanted to capture their family at a place they love. The house was absolutely amazing and so is the connection between this family.

A big thank you to this family! I can’t wait to see you all this summer for a pool party lifestyle session!

Welcome Kepley! | Charleston Newborn Photographer

My newborn sessions are some of my favorites this year. I have held so many sweet babies and met doting parents at their home. My newborn sessions are AT the client’s home. I do that because when I had my babies, I couldn’t have imagined being up for trekking out of the house with a one week old. I decided that I would instead come to the clients home for the sessions. It takes so much pressure of the parents and more comfortable for the baby.

Kepley was a dream. He is the youngest of five amazing children. He is so loved. While I was shooting each of the children had to come and take a peek. I felt like they were checking to make sure I was being as sweet to him as they are.
