It is always such a joy for me when I client signs up for my milestone program. This means that I get to photograph this family during multiple sessions throughout that first year of the children’s lives. You can see the twins in their mamas belly during her maternity session here, their newborn session and now her into their sitter session. We will conclude their milestone sessions with an upcoming first birthday session.
Photographing Twins isn’t always easy, but is always fun! Their mom wanted to make sure that they captured the nursery as they were in the middle of building their house during the newborn session. Capturing that nursery after it was finalized was so important! It was such a beautiful nursery, and the children were just so cozy in it. She also wanted to have an heirloom type session during their session. The heirlooms are always my favorite and a total classic. I can’t wait to show you their first birthday session so you can see how these sweet twins have grown!

It’s funny because in December of 2023, I spent a considerable amount of time laboring over my aggressive goals for 2024. I hit the new year and I was ready to rock it. Then God laughed at my plans and here it is mid-February and just now blogging for the first time. I can’t wait to show you all the things I am set out to do for my clients and my business in 2024! January was just a soft launch, right?!
I am beyond thrilled to show you this stunning in-home newborn session. I just fell in love with this family. Their grace, their warmth and their ease with their first child, Islay. We had the sweetest session and with every click of my shutter I swore that image was going to be my favorite. I honestly don’t know how they will choose which image is their favorite- it was impossible for me to do. I was even more thrilled when they decided to include a milestone session package to their newborn session. It makes it that much sweeter knowing I will watch this baby girl grow up right before my lens. With a milestone session, you can get a sitter session and a first birthday session included. It’s so nice to document that first year as a family.

One of my favorite aspects of being a photographer is meeting so many sweet families and getting to photograph those families’ little ones again as they grow up through the years. It is always so fun to see their cute little personalities shine and to document the different stages of their life. I was so happy when the Vickerson family contacted me to have some new family portraits created. Several years ago, I created newborn portraits for their oldest son, Shep, and then again for his little brother, Tripp. As we are in the middle of this season of gratitude, I cannot say it enough how GRATEFUL and HONORED I am that this family chose me to capture these very important memories for them. These little boys are the sweetest, and their session was so fun! I loved getting to see this adorable family again and to update their family portraits!
The boys’ newborn sessions were also so adorable that I decided to include a few images from both Shep’s newborn session and Tripp’s newborn session below to show how much they have grown. Also, if you appreciate stunning interior design like I do, then you will want to be sure to check out these images to see their nurseries. Both boys had the most gorgeous, quintessentially Southern nurseries that were like something out of magazine – very classic and timeless. During every newborn session, I also capture all the important little details that have been curated into making the nursery a home for your little one during those early months.
