Yes, it’s January and I’m just now blogging this amazing family. I held it on purpose. It’s January and it’s cold (it even snowed here last week) and I’m dreaming of beach days. I know myself and I know this feeling would come. So, I’m posting an amazing beach session now. Humor me, people.

I went to Kiawah on a gorgeous night to meet this amazing family. I walked in their house on the golf course and was blown away by the love that they have for each other. It was noticeable in the first few moments. I knew this would be a great session. We started at the golf course out back and then walked to the beach. This family talked and laughed and I had the best time with them. The two little boys I’m about to grace your eyes with were the nicest little people and SO cute! Here are a few of my favorites from their sessions. Hurry up warm weather, the beach is calling me!

Hello. My name is Adalyn. | Huntsville Newborn Photographer

Y’all. I can’t EVEN with this one. She had my heart from the moment I held her. Like getting all misty just by looking at her. At 41 weeks, she broke my record of all my clients going 3+ weeks early. She was SO worth the wait. She was awake during the entire session, which was fine by me! She was calm, inquisitive and absolutely perfect! I just love this family and we are already planning their next session. It may or may not include this little bitty and a very cool classic car. I’ll keep you posted on that one. Anyway, back to this amazing in home newborn lifestyle session. It was a good one!

Welcome Home Brewer Boys | Huntsville Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

We are all happy the Brewer boys are home. They spent a few extra days in the hospital, so it was a relief to have them home. They are identical, so I could tell who was who for about the first few minutes, then I lost track. Next time, I’m going to bring a sticker for my twin newborns so I can tell who is who! It’s a wonderful problem to have, two amazing, healthy, and beautiful boys. I just love this family. The best part is? I get to see them every few months for their first year. Their mom signed up for my “grow with me sessions”. Every few months we get together to have a mini session to document their first year. Our journey has only just begun! WHOOHOO!

Burgess Family | Isle of Palms Family Beach Photographer

I feel like the luckiest photographer in the world to have such beautiful and kind clients. Now, y’all know how I love babies at the beach…meet William. Those eyes! Those cheeks! That smile! Oh he had my heart during the entire session. He was so good though it was so close to his bedtime. I am glad he stayed up because we had a beautiful sunset. I enjoyed this family so much and hope to see them again when they vacation in South Carolina!

Mary Neely Class of 2018 | Senior Photographer Charleston

It hurts my heart a bit to write this post. I mean it’s bittersweet. This is my favorite niece Mary Neely and she is (GULP) a senior this year. We all knew it was coming. Some of us a little more in denial than others (sniff). But here we are.

However, I am absolutely thrilled for her. I can NOT wait to see her at college next year! I am going to use some restraint and not write pages of sappiness in this blog post- though I could. Your welcome, MN! I will try to keep it short.

Mary Neely- you are amazing, kind, giving, a woman of God, beautiful, confident, funny and a force to be reckoned with. I absolutely adore and love you. We are the lucky ones to know and love you.
