Isaac & Family | Hampton Cove Newborn Photographer

I firmly believe that God puts people in your life for a reason. God definitely put this family into my life and I am happy He did. Since we moved to Huntsville, we have really gotten to know this family well. We are in the same church small group and Brint and I volunteer on the same church committee! To be able to photograph their family at their home was such an honor! I just enjoy this family so much! They are so kind, generous and gracious. They remind me so much me my family when we had a house full of little kids AND a baby! I look at them and just have to smile. It’s a nice reminder for me personally to see how far my own little family has come, and to be able to reassure them that it does get easier and you do eventually get to sleep!

I am so thankful for this family and their friendship in our lives!

Aileen & the Twins Sneak Peek | Huntsville Maternity Photographer

It’s pretty typical to photograph maternity clients anywhere from 34-38 weeks. You want that nice full, round belly. Unless you are having TWINS. Then you typically photograph right around the 7 month mark, maybe a bit before. That being because twins are likely to be born a bit early and so the mom isn’t so far long she is uncomfortable. When Aileen reached out, we knew that this week would be the perfect time to photograph her. Her belly is round and beautiful, but she’s not quite to the uncomfortable stage yet. She still has bit to go!

Craig Family | Huntsville Family Photographer

When clients book they often ask for suggestions on locations. The Craig family couldn’t decide if they wanted a rural or urban feel to their session. Ultimately, they chose BOTH! It turned out to be such a pretty and fun day to explore the nature of Huntsville and then end the session downtown to capture the city’s charm. I had so much fun with the Craig family and their hilariously fun daughter. There were so many favorites from this session, but here are a few of my favorites!

Laura of The Turquoise Home & Family | Family Photographer Huntsville, Alabama

I have been holding back a few client posts because they were going to send them out for their Christmas cards. I couldn’t spoil the surprise! Now that we are in the New Year, I’m thrilled to share them with you.

Let’s start with a celebrity! Laura of The Turquoise Home asked me to take their family photographs for their Christmas cards.  She also said she needed a few refreshed headshots for her blog/social media. Since I already loved her blog it was a hard YES! I was hoping that just being in her presence her DIY and Home Decor expertise would transfer to me through osmosis. Ha! It didn’t unfortunately.

I just love her and her family. Now when I read her blog and see the picture that I took, I feel like I’m the celebrity!

Dyer Family Sneak Peek | Huntsville Family & Child Photographer

This family is nothing short of amazing. The weather this fall has been a little unpredictable. The weather turned quickly and it was COLD and super windy. This family braved it with ease and grace. They enjoyed each other so much and it really showed in the pictures. These children never once complained. It was amazing. Also, their outfits are ON POINT. If you all ever need to know what to wear for a family session this is a perfect example. Coordinating, but not super matching. What a great family. I can’t wait to show you more from this session!
