Grace First Birthday Session | Huntsville Child and Family Photographer

The ultimate validation for any photographer is if you have repeat clients. For me, it’s the best! It also happens to be the worst in some cases and I’ll tell you why: they grow up. There I said it. When I photograph any newborns I hope my clients come back, but the dread hits when they schedule their first birthday session. I KNOW the once newborn babies going to have grown so much and my heart is going to break. No more squishy baby! WAHHHH!!! Why can’t they stay little forever?! Grace has grown into an incredible one year old. She is more than I could have hoped for in her ease and kindness. I just fell in love with one year old Grace just as much as I did for newborn Grace. Pathology Associates Corporate Headshots | Headshot Photographer Huntsville Alabama

Pathology Associates reached out to me and asked me to photograph their Pathology Doctors at their main office here in Huntsville. Oh I love a good headshot session! They were updating their branding/website and needed updated headshots of all their Doctors. It was such a fun experience for everyone! Yes, typically I’m photographing babies and families- which I love! However, my previous life was in corporate marketing, web, and branding. So I love photographing that arena too! It’s like being a parent. You love your kids, but you welcome a fun night out with a group of adults. This is exactly what this session was for me- a fun night out with adults.

Jackson Sneak Peek | Huntsville Newborn Photographer

I am so excited to introduce you to Jackson, 6 days old. He was super sweet and very relaxed during our session. He also has a super adorable big bother who was so darling if I didn’t already have a mess of kids, I’d be asking my husband for one just like him! The pacifier! UGH! Be still my Momma heart! I love lifestyle sessions because I am able to entire their bedrooms and photograph them as they are today. I wanted to be sure to document him with the pacifier because one day it will be gone and his Mom look back and think awwwww.

Dear Sara Catherine,

Welcome to this beautiful world. You are blessed to have joined such a great family. I am the lucky one who was asked to photograph you as a newborn. I spent the morning with you, your parents and your brother, soon to be your best friend (and quickly became mine), Wood. He loves you so much already and so proud to be your big brother. He is so nice, warm, hilarious, cute as everything and a total charmer. You are so loved already and I can tell you feel it by your ease and happiness. You were an angel throughout the session and even gave me a smile, which is hardly ever captured at your young age. You’re a gem, thank you so much! I am sure everyone will read this blog post and smile and say aawwww in unison.
