Branden and Taylor Engaged! | Huntsville Family Photographer

Oh my, this session took quite the exciting turn! A few months ago, Taylor reached out wanting a couples session for her and her boyfriend. They had adopted an adorable Golden named Holden and recently bought a house together. She wanted to document this sweet moment in their life as a couple. Fast forward to a few weeks before the session, Branden emails me telling me he is going to propose to Taylor during the session. I was SO excited! We talked through a few things and set the stage.

I told Branden that he needed to propose first thing so that we could do engagement portraits during the session. He went down to his knee first thing and Taylor was shocked. I was so nervous I could feel my heartbeat in my ears! She didn’t have any idea that this was going to happen. Oh it was so sweet! I just loved being a part of documenting this incredible moment in their lives! Scroll on down to watch the event, then stay around for a few of the romantic engagement portraits and that ring! GAH! He did so well!

Nora and Family | Huntsville Family and Child Photographer

It’s the end of 2021 and I just totaled up my year. This year I photographed 17 families! PHEW! That doesn’t count my maternity, newborn and branding clients! I honestly think that people had spent more than enough time in quarantine that they were ready to get back to it! I was too and so happy to photograph Nora and her family. You all pace yourself as you go through this session with me. There is a whole lot of cuteness to process. Y’all the socks. They couldn’t be cuter! I just had to photograph that little detail! I just loved her outfit so much!
I love this image so much. She started off a little quiet and not really wanting to show me her true personality. Then towards the end of the session – BOOM – she went all out, running and giving the best hugs to her parents. She was adorable! Every kid in the history of kids will do this if you ask them to hold their parents hands. Y’all zoom in on her face- pure concentration and strength!

Sweet Landry | Huntsville Newborn Photographer

I just love being a Huntsville newborn photographer. It is seriously the best job with the best people. It is my pleasure to introduce you to sweet Landry and her incredible parents. We had such a beautiful session and they were so easy going. I can see where Landry gets it. She was the nicest little 5 day old baby! I enjoyed watching the love between her parents. They were taking it all in stride and you could just feel the bond between these three people. It’s really neat to watch a couple turn into a family instantly. I so enjoyed my time with them so much!

Congratulations again to this incredible family! Thank you for allowing me to photograph your first days home with that sweet girl. I can’t wait to watch her grow!

Miller Newborn Session | Hampton Cove Newborn Photographer

I swear it is SO hard to name a child. I went through it four times (four kids), but then decided not to find out the gender so we actually came up with two names for each child. It was one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever made. This family? They NAILED IT when it comes to naming their children. This darling boy who you are about to meet is named Miller. As in his first name- not last name. I won’t disclose his last name for privacy purposes, but let me just tell you- this kid will likely be famous just because his name is that awesome. Trust me.
Bring me all the big families by the way. I walked into this home and felt like I had walked into my own home. I have a mess of kids, so the dynamic of those with a mess of kids just sing my siren song. I GET IT. The chaos, the interruptions, the incomplete outfits and thoughts?! Yep, on the daily over there.
