I say it all the time, but I’m going to say it again. I meet the greatest families and have THE best time during beach sessions. This family is in town from DC, Boston and Chicago! I took their beach portraits and this is just about how the session went and I smiled the entire time. It’s a bigger sneak peek then I typically do, but sometimes, you need to break the rules to tell the story of one great session! I can’t wait to show you all more! Okay, okay, on to the progression. Here we go….

It started all proper with the posed shots, which are great and amazing. Everyone represented.

Then, we twirled a bit to loosen up the shy littles.

Then we got what we wanted and it was a free for all! It started with me in the water to my waist. Then, the kids got in the action (with a quick agreement nod from the parents), I shoot some fun ones and I turn around and I see two parents RUNNING in the ocean! I laughed so hard! Look what we got!! Absolute, pure joy! Those kids will remember that moment forever, I promise!

Finally, we were all wet, laughing and it was great. So, what to do to end the session?! JUMP IN THE POOL WITH CLOTHES ON, OF COURSE! Those you’ll have to wait for, but this was the last image I took before my camera said, “CARD FULL!”
